“In conclusion I have to say that I am really excited to be part of this ceremony that celebrates not only the hard work put in to create an operational plant but also its success measured by the number of customers who have placed long term commercial contracts. These contracts cover all aspects of Indian pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing including Covid-19 vaccine manufacture.”
British Deputy High Commissioner to India Anna Shotbolt said, “The need for collaboration on healthcare between nations has never been more important. This latest investment by Micronclean and the successful completion of the Vemagal facility reaffirms the UK’s global commitment to support the pharmaceutical industry in fighting the pandemic. I look forward to seeing more plants like these to bring the best minds from the UK and India together further still.”
