Focus on sustainable production and optimised logistics
"We are delighted to be able to open another cleanroom laundry in Burghausen, Bavaria. With our investment in the site, we are taking an important step for the future. We have created a state-of-the-art production facility that guarantees reliability and compliance with quality standards. We have also focused on sustainability right from the start: the geographical proximity to our customers in southern Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe will make us even better logistically and bring us even closer to our customers. This helps us to save significant amounts of CO2," said Markus Schad, CEO of CWS Cleanrooms.
We minimise our water and electricity consumption with heat converters and quick steam generators
The start of operations went smoothly: "We were able to start production on schedule on 19 March."
Since then, CWS has been washing under the best conditions in Burghausen.
"With the help of our modern equipment, we achieve the best possible washing results and at the same time work resource-efficiently. For example, we minimise our water and electricity consumption with heat converters and quick steam generators," added Andreas Winkler, Site Manager in Burghausen.
"We also have a photovoltaic system on the roof to generate our own electricity from the sun, as well as electric charging stations for cars. With the addition of these washing capacities, we will also be able to meet the growing demands of our customers in the future," Winkler added.
