Cleanroom contractor PCI expands into "Triangle Region" in NC

The US-based company has opened a new office to service the Raleigh area, and named an office leader to head it up

Performance Contracting, Inc (PCI), a cleanroom contracting expert, has opened its newest office in the Triangle Region, North Carolina.

For this, the US-based company has named Luke Acton as the Office Leader.

This expansion marks a significant milestone in PCI's commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality services to clients in the Raleigh area and beyond.

Located at Imperial Center, Durham, the new office is a hub for PCI's operations, providing a local presence for clients seeking high-quality cleanroom contracting solutions.

With a focus on innovation, design, and construction, PCI aims to provide turnkey cleanroom solutions for many industries, including life sciences/pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, mission-critical facilities, and EV battery storage.

The Triangle office features a complete Cleanroom Design Center with fully constructed, full-scale cleanroom environments featuring multiple supplier materials.

Clients can step in and experience some of PCI’s innovative solutions.

The five separate cleanrooms with a viewing corridor comprise of modular wall panels, self-supported walkable ceiling panels, glass wall panels, HEPA terminals, light fixtures, functioning automated doors including rapid roll doors and sliding doors, windows, electrical/process utility panels, interlock functionality, and more.

A tour of the centre offers clients a chance to experience multiple innovative hybrid cleanroom solutions while engaging with PCI’s cleanroom experts.

Luke Acton, Construction Manager, is leading the charge at the Raleigh office. He brings a wealth of cleanroom experience and expertise to his additional role as Office Leader.

With a BS in Construction Management from Ball State University and an active member of ISPE, Acton said: "The Triangle is not just a new market for PCI; it's also a place my family and I are proud to call home."

The new office includes local sales, project management, pre-construction, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and architectural cleanroom design, enabling PCI to offer full-service turnkey capabilities for their clients, delivering cleanroom facilities with the highest levels of quality, performance, safety, and service.
