ATI, founded in 1961, revolutionised the world of specialised test equipment with the introduction of its first portable photometer. Since then, ATI has grown to become the global leader in designing and manufacturing precision instruments used to test and certify HEPA filters, filter media and cartridges, respirators, and protective masks. Our photometers, known for their quality and reliability, are trusted worldwide in critical environments that protect human health and essential infrastructure.
Expanding product solutions
Over the decades, ATI has continually expanded its product offerings and capabilities to meet the rigorous demands of its customers. Our Filter Leak Testing products are essential for verifying the performance of HEPA filters in cleanrooms, while our Automated Filter Testing products ensure that filter media used in respirators and cartridges meet stringent performance standards. We also provide Protective Mask Leakage Testing to confirm the fit and integrity of protective masks for military and first responders. In the UK and Ireland, we provide consulting services for cleanrooms and controlled environments, along with environmental monitoring systems.
Training and education
The ATI Training Institute offers a wide range of training options to suit your needs, whether you prefer virtual, on-demand, or on-site training. Our main focus is on the proper use of photometers, industry standards, compliance, and related topics. We offer four unique courses – HEPA Filter Testing, Biosafety Cabinet Testing, Airflow Measurement and Testing, and Cleanroom Classification. A course manual is provided, and a certificate is awarded upon successful completion of each course and exam.

Headquartered in the USA, with manufacturing facilities in the USA and the UK, and a regional office in China, ATI is well-positioned to serve customers wherever they operate, supported by a global network of over 50 distributors and service centers.
