While for many companies, the COVID 19 pandemic has resulted in serious financial pressures and indeed many business failures this cannot be said for Critical Environment Solutions Ltd (CES) who have thrived from the challenge of a troubled supply chain and the demands of key customers in their fight to develop COVID 19 vaccines.
The success and growth that has been achieved during 2020, has also been against the backdrop of Brexit and the retirement of Sales Director Steve Hufton who has been an in integral part of the CES story from the beginning and who spent over 30 years in the cleanroom industry.
The recruitment of Cecile Mahony as Business Development Executive – South and the restructuring of the sales territories has provided Matt Savage with a new role as Business Development Executive – North.
Matt and Cecile with the support of the sales team have taken over where Steve left off to provide a highly focussed, adaptable, and entrepreneurial approach to customer care and key account management.
This has allowed CES to use its wide range of branded cleanroom products, short lead times and flexible logistics to ensure that its customers have the continuity of supply they demand.
Andy Holbrook Managing Director at CES commented: ”With 2021 providing similar challenges to 2020, I am confident that CES can again rise to the challenge. 2021, has already seen significant growth in the company’s order book as the demand for sterile cleanroom consumables and sterile cleanroom packed disposable clothing has increased considerably to support the push to manufacture COVID 19 vaccines”.
