Telstar's life sciences services offerings under a single brand
New structure emphasises the ability to offer complete integrated solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry
The Telstar group has integrated all its offerings in specialist services (engineering, consulting, construction and maintenance) for the life sciences market into a single functional division, Telstar Life Science Value Services, which will enable it to address the requirements of its expanding customer base more effectively.
Following a period of strong growth for the group at international level, including a number of acquisitions, this restructuring will improve operating efficiency and provide a unified identity, the company says.
Telstar Life Science Value Services is the combined result of the experiences of SVS, TPRO, Duelectron and Pharmaster, which have been developed over some 15 years. These group companies are considered benchmarks in Latin America, Europe, North Africa, India and China in the engineering and construction of pharmaceutical and biotechnology plants and complete laboratories for the manufacture of medicines, as well as in consulting, validation, regulatory compliance and implementation of logistics management and maintenance systems.
Following a period of rapid and constant international growth, Telstar has now embarked on a process of integration of its business activities into four operating divisions to generate greater efficiency in the international market. This organisational model will enable Telstar to complete the process of territorial establishment and will consolidate its position as one of the fastest growing European industrial groups in the sector of services and equipment for the markets of life sciences and vacuum technology applications for the industrial and scientific sector.
At the present time for the life sciences market Telstar has 10 technology centres, eight engineering and consulting services centres and seven manufacturing plants working to develop integrated solutions for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and veterinary industries and research centres.
Telstar will now conduct its activities in the following areas:
- Telstar Life Science Solutions for design and manufacture of equipment
- Telstar Life Science Value Services for engineering, consulting, construction and maintenance services
- Telstar Vacuum Solutions for sdesign and manufacture of equipment requiring high and ultra-high vacuum technology, such as space simulation chambers, etc.
- Telstar Instruments for Solutions for development and marketing of instrumentation for the scientific and research field
