Stancold has completed a job building a yoghurt tank and clean in place (CIP) room for a local dairy.
This project required hygienic partitioning to form a new area within the site, suitable for the housing of a yoghurt tank and CIP system. The team installed over 350 sqm of Kingspan Quadcore food-safe panelling of 60 mm and 100 mm to construct the room, fixing a personnel door and roller shutter door for access.
An important consideration across the working dairy sites is their live environment. This, alongside coordination of other trades and installations, requires careful planning to ensure minimal disruption while completing the project as efficiently as possible.
The works were installed in two phases to allow for the large yoghurt tanks to be lifted into the newly formed areas, before our team returned to complete the ceiling area.
This was an intricate project, where working around the client’s new equipment meant a scaffold tower was needed to finish the install.
Stancold has worked with this dairy for over 20 years on many projects. The UK-based company create controlled environments for the food & drink, tech & engineering, storage & distribution, IT & comms, medical, and other industries.
