Concept Heidelberg has finished work on its new building and now uses almost 2,000 square meters of office space.
After only around a year of construction, Concept Heidelberg, a European provider of further training and information services in the area of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical production and quality assurance, has completed and moved into its expansion building at its location in Heidelberg.
This means that the company has an additional 800 and a total of around 2,000 square meters of office space available.
Concept Heidelberg has been represented in Heidelberg since 1978 and had already expanded its office building in Wieblingen in 2003.
The new extension is intended to accommodate the further growth of the company, which today employs 40 people, including pharmacists, chemists/biochemists and microbiologists
The new extension is intended to accommodate the further growth of the company, which today employs 40 people, including pharmacists, chemists/biochemists and microbiologists. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company was able to significantly expand its business in just two years by developing a comprehensive online seminar and conference programme.
In addition to the events “on site” in ten European countries, this online event business has now established itself as the company’s second pillar.
As in the existing building, in which the offices are continually being modernized, the focus in the new building was on a contemporary, bright working environment. Accordingly, the new, air-conditioned offices and other rooms were designed with glass and wood. In addition, a lounge on the top floor of the new building offers all employees plenty of space for breaks, personal meetings or discussions in small groups.
With the extension, Concept Heidelberg is also reducing its increasing energy consumption. A new photovoltaic system with an output of 10.2 kWp supplies both the building and the charging stations for electric and hybrid vehicles with electricity.
