Margaret Beckett MP officially opens Synergy Health’s new head office in Derby
She was also given a behind the scenes tour of the company\'s surgical instrument sterilisation services
Local MP Margaret Beckett has officially opened Synergy Health’s new head office in Derby, as well as visiting its Sterile Service facility at the Royal Derby Hospital, which is delivering services to the Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Not only did the Derby South MP open the head office, but she also had an exclusive behind the scenes tour, where she was shown Synergy Health’s reusable surgical instrument sterilisation services and saw how they improve service and quality while significantly reducing operating costs.
Synergy Health provides specialist outsourced services to healthcare providers including surgical instrument sterilisation services that support the trust’s operating theatres and wards, as well as its overall clinical safety.
'It gives me great pleasure to officially open Synergy Health's new office at the Wyvern Business Park in Derby,' said Beckett.
'Furthermore, the opportunity to visit Synergy Health's facility at the Royal Derby Hospital gave me an insight into the services it delivers to the Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I was impressed that Synergy Health makes a great contribution both in terms of local jobs and to the National Health Service.'
