The international trade business doesn't stand still. There are always impacts pushing it this way and that.

The DACH market is a global hub for the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries, and where these hubs are, the cleanroom industry must follow.

In 2025, there are plenty of influencing factors that will see cleanroom build demand changes in this region, as well as demand for cleanroom services.

Basel in Switzerland is a major hub for pharmaceutical and biotech companies

The region in general is drawing manufacturers from all over. An example of this is Parteco, an Italy-based cleanroom component provider and design and build expert, which reinforced its presence in German-speaking Switzerland, Germany, and Austria in February 2025.

The Swiss Cleanroom Community says it is keen to grow in this region.
