The Guardtech brand has adopted a centralised project management software that connects teams, data and workflows throughout every phase of a cleanroom’s construction project’s life cycle

Cleanroom Solutions, the specialist turnkey cleanroom construction brand within The Guardtech Group, has announced the adoption of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

The move is part of a broader strategy to elevate the company’s large-scale controlled environment facility projects.

Cleanroom Solutions, originally founded in 2000 in Sussex by Jan Pyrgies, focuses on the design and construction of complex, turnkey cleanroom facilities. The company was then acquired by Guardtech in late 2021.

The implementation of ACC represents a significant step in the company’s drive to improve collaboration, data management and project oversight across every phase of a project’s life cycle.

ACC provides a centralised, cloud-based platform where project stakeholders can access real-time data, models and documentation.

This ‘single source of truth’ is designed to reduce errors arising from version mismatches or outdated plans and to enhance coordination between designers, engineers, contractors and clients, irrespective of their location.

Among the key benefits cited is the software’s ability to improve quality control by efficiently tracking and managing project issues.

ACC allows users to upload photographs, checklists and location tags, while automatically logging and managing quality-related matters.

The integration of ACC and its advanced Building Information Modelling (BIM) capabilities has delivered tangible improvements in design coordination, clash detection and project management, as well as streamlined construction workflows.

Beyond software enhancements, Cleanroom Solutions continues to invest in a range of advanced technologies. The company reports strong performance in areas including 2D and 3D modelling, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and the use of 3D lidar scanning technology to produce highly accurate site surveys.

The adoption of ACC marks a significant milestone for Cleanroom Solutions as it continues to advance its offering in the highly specialised field of cleanroom construction.
