Stancold has expanded into data centre fit-outs, applying its experience in technically complex construction to the growing digital infrastructure sector.

“Data centres require the same levels of precision and technical control that have guided our work for decades. Expanding into this sector is a logical step for the company,” said Andy Croxton, Managing Director at Stancold.

The company has over 70 years of experience designing and constructing controlled environments for critical industries.

This includes work in cleanrooms for pharmaceuticals, electronics, and battery research, where the company has delivered bespoke installations and integrated specialist machinery.

Recent projects include battery manufacturing facilities and nuclear-sector builds, providing a foundation for entering the data centre market.

In 2025, Stancold established a dedicated data centre team with the technical expertise and project management capacity to deliver large-scale fit-out projects.
