Cleanroom design and build expert Schilling Engineering has partnered with Lithuania-based validation expert Qvalitek for growth in the region

Cleanroom design and build expert Schilling Engineering has now partnered with Lithuania-based Qvalitek.

Qvalitek provides validation and qualification services designed to verify that processes and equipment adhere to stringent regulatory requirements and established quality standards.

Germany-based Schilling has told Cleanroom Technology that the partnership will focus on the distribution and qualification of modular softwall cleanrooms and hardwall cleanroom cabins.

"These cleanroom systems are delivered in prefabricated elements and can even be installed by the customer himself or by local partners," Iris Dörffeldt said. "The cleanroom systems are manufactured at our facility in Germany."

A local partner knows the customer's needs better, understands their regulations and can act without language barriers

Qvalitek is particularly excited by the self-assembly cleanroom solution. "It’s a game-changer allowing flexible, efficient, cost-effective cleanroom setups," the company stated on LinkedIn.

"By joining forces, we’re enhancing our capabilities and offering our clients smarter, more adaptable solutions that can be tailored to their specific needs," the LinkedIn post continued. "We can’t wait to see the incredible projects we’ll build together!"

The partnership came about because Schilling had completed several projects in Lithuania, which put them on Qvalitek's radar. "Qvalitek became aware of us and proposed a cooperation in the Baltic States," Dörffeldt explained.

Geographic synergy

Dörffeldt told Cleanroom Technology that Qvalitek's local presence in Lithuania will help the company address that market. She emphasises the local regulations and language barrier as specific ways this will help.

"Our partner benefits from our technical solutions and we benefit from their contacts and network in the country," Dörffeldt said.
