Gowans said: "Judging and sponsoring the Manufacturing Business of the Year award for the second year running was an honour for us as it represents excellence in our field of manufacturing in the North West.
"The standard of those shortlisted across the award categories was extremely high this year. Congratulations to the winners Packing Automation and everyone else that won or was shortlisted at this year’s E3 awards.”
PSL is an international designer and manufacturer of filtration, drying and high containment solutions for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, chemical and laboratory industries. Based in Liverpool, PSL is a previous winner of E3 awards for Manufacturing Business of the Year (2014) and International Business of the Year (2015).
The awards evening attracted delegates from all parts of the region, from Cumbria to Cheshire, Merseyside to Manchester. Visitors also came representing a broad range of industry sectors, so it provided an excellent opportunity to raise Packing Automation’s profile amongst some of the North West's most successful organisations.
Mubarak Chati, Managing Director at 1 Events Media, the organiser of the awards, said: "I am very grateful to PSL and all our other sponsors for their support and involvement. Each year, the E3 Business Awards get bigger, better known and more fiercely contested and it is all thanks to the backing of organisations like PSL."
