Monitoring the ambient air for pathogenic particles such as dust, soot and pollen, which can harm the environment and humans considerably, has become increasingly important in the last few years.
With its several parallel measuring channels, the PCE particle counter PCE-PQC 10 EU allows the user to measure particle sizes between 0.3 and 25 µm at the same time. This makes clean room verifications according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 possible.
Pathogenic particles can result for example, from combustion processes, manufacturing processes or power generation processes. At the workplace, certain guidelines must be followed in order to fulfil all provisions regarding emissions. Monitoring if provisions are fulfilled is only possible with the right instruments that can measure parameters like alveolar dust.
PCE dust meter is compact in size. It was developed for quick and easy use and can therefore be used flexibly in occupational and environmental protection. The assessment of dust exposure at the workplace is based on different legal regulations. The PCE-PQC series is calibrated according to ISO 21501-4 and thus ensures comparability of the readings.
The portable particle counters reliably measure the number of particles in different modes, such as real time, cumulative or differential. Most importantly, the particle counters of the PCE-PQC series comply with the standards necessary to fulfil the dust limits required for occupational health and safety.
