A new strategic alliance, called Professional Partners for Controlled Environment (PP4CE), has been established to create a global space for new turnkey solutions in controlled environments.
Formed by nine companies in this market, PP4CE launches in response to the increasing need for hygienic, easily cleanable and air-conditioned rooms - whether it is cleanrooms for the semiconductor or pharmaceutical industry, high care facilities for the ready-to-eat (RTE) food industry or general laboratories in the chemical sector.
A stricter global regulatory landscape and a greater requirement for risk management have led to a growing demand for controlled environments. Where senior management has to spend more time focussing on maximising safety and minimising environmental risk, optimising cost control and maximising availability is paramount.
Under the name Professional Partners for Controlled Environment (PP4CE) the collaboration features experts from across a range of technology areas, including STULZ, providers of energy efficient temperature and humidity control solutions for mission critical applications and general HVAC technology; and Brecon International, a specialist Dutch cleanroom construction company.
Other partners include:
- Camfil, air filtration specialist
- Assa Abloy, supplier of door entrance technology
- Deerns, engineering consultancy
- Bolidt, experts in producing and applying innovative synthetic floors
- Mennens Cleanroom Cranes, manufacturer of clean hoisting equipment
- Van Aken Architects, provider of architect services in the field of controlled environments
- Denios, specialists in laminar and cross flow booth units and LAF cabinets
The PP4CE partners are aiming to create an international platform that will supervise and manage the entire design qualification process up to and including the implementation of the commissioning and qualification plan.
PP4CE will be presented globally as a sponsor of the International Symposium on Contamination Control (ISCC '18) in The Hague, Netherlands. The event takes place on 23-26 September 2018. Later this year the alliance will be attending the EHEDG World Congress (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) in London. The event is scheduled on 21-22 November.
