Micronclean, the specialist laundered garment rental service and cleanroom consumable manufacturer, has transitioned to the new ISO 9001: 2015 standard following a recent two-day BSI surveillance audit.
In comparison to the 2008 standard the 2015 standard includes the following:
- puts greater emphasis on leadership engagement
- helps address organisational risks and opportunities in a structured manner
- addresses supply chain management more effectively
- uses simplified language and a common structure and terms in line with other standards.
Robert Parker, Micronclean Managing Director, said: “This represents a huge achievement, given the scale and complexity attached to the transition from the 2008 standard to the 2015 standard and aligns with our business purpose statement which puts quality alongside innovation at the heart of our business.
“Critical Environmental Solutions the other company within the Micronclean Group has also achieved the same standard so as a group we will continue to provide quality and efficiency to our customers backed by outstanding customer care.”
