Cleanzone 2016 looking bigger than ever

Published: 8-Jul-2016

Current booking have already matched the amount of exhibition space booked for last year and there is still four months to go

Cleanzone is continuing to grow in 2016. Bookings for exhibition space have already surpasse the previous event, and there are still four months to go before the start of the event.

Ruth Lorenz, Vice President Technology & Production at Messe Frankfurt, explains: 'In the dynamic and growing market for cleanroom technology, Cleanzone has clearly established itself as the industry’s international meeting place. Every autumn, manufacturers and users of cleanroom technology join with experts from the fields of research and development here in Frankfurt to discuss the latest trends.'

On 8 - 9 November 2016, numerous international market leaders will be showcasing what they have to offer at the international trade fair and congress for cleanroom technology in Frankfurt for the first time. The list of first-time exhibitors includes: Aeropur, Alsco, APSystems, Block, Clear & Clean, Dastex Reinraumzubehör, Mann + Hummel, Siemens Building Technologies and Skeratschoppe.

Thorsten Schmitt, responsible for Business Development Life Sciences Germany at Siemens’ Building Technologies division, says: 'Buildings and infrastructure in the life sciences industry have to satisfy a range of special requirements. At the same time, the significance of cleanroom technology will increase even further in future. Siemens has responded to this situation with customised solutions – ranging from building automation and safety and fire protection systems to interdisciplinary management systems – all from a single source. Cleanzone, where we will be exhibiting for the first time this year, is an attractive platform on which to present our extensive range of products and services to experts and decision-makers from the industry.'

The ranks of returning exhibitors include market leaders such as AAF, Basan, Contec, Daldrop + Dr. Ing. Huber, Decontam, Drees + Sommer, Gerflor, Kemmlit, Nitritex, Particle Measuring Systems, Weiss Klimatechnik and Viessmann.

Cleanzone, which has been taking place annually in Frankfurt am Main since 2012, is an interdisciplinary event that offers something for users in the fields of life sciences and micro-technology. The products and services on offer at the trade fair range from equipment for cleanrooms in which particles of hundreds of micrometres are monitored, to products for class 1 cleanrooms where even particles smaller than 1 micrometre have to be monitored. This is also reflected in the manufacturers and industry associations who will be exhibiting at Cleanzone.

The company Cleanroom.de focuses primarily on solutions for the field of micro-technology, and will be exhibiting together with five partner firms at a joint stand at Cleanzone for the first time this year. Markus Thamm, Sales and Marketing at Cleanroom.de said: 'With our partner firms, we will be presenting various fields of cleanroom technology in individual events, offering customers the opportunity to find out how to deal with the challenges they are facing. This will primarily focus on the areas of AMC, cleaning and cleanroom construction.'

Pharmabau 3000 (VIP3000), a group promoting the interests of those involved in pharmaceutical construction, will again be organising a joint stand at the trade fair. Vice President Rino Woyczyk explains: 'Like last year, some 15 VIP3000 members will be present in the VIP3000 area at Cleanzone, allowing us to ensure that all customers and visitors will be able to find competent experts and contact persons from relevant supplier and/or consultant sectors to answer questions about their properties, technical facilities, components and process technologies, and to objectively discuss these issues and possible solutions.'

The Cleaning Excellence Center in Leonberg will also be returning to Frankfurt with a joint stand in order to provide information on all aspects of technical cleanliness.

Whether it be planning, layout, construction, validation, qualification or ongoing operation, Cleanzone covers the entire life cycle of a cleanroom. In addition to the trade fair, the Cleanroom Congress taking place at the same time offers opportunities to expand cleanroom knowledge and expertise.

The industry's top themes will also be discussed by a high-calibre roster of experts at Cleanzone Plaza, located right at the heart of the trade fair. At Cleanzone 2015, more than 730 trade visitors came to Frankfurt to find out what was on offer from 88 exhibitors. For more information, please visit our website www.cleanzone.messefrankfurt.com
