Dr Hönle UV-Technology, a Germany-based technology company, has appointed Dr Markus Arendt to its Executive Board and will take up the position in May.
An expert in industrial UV-technology and UV-systems, Dr Hönle UV-Technology covers the entire spectrum of drying, hardening, bonding, disinfecting and measuring.
Arendt succeeds Dr Franz Richter, who the Supervisory Board appointed for a year to lead the company on an interim basis. Richter has now returned to his role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Arendt has extensive experience with international industrial companies and was the Managing Director of the German subsidiary of MKS Instruments, a supplier to the Semiconductor Industry.
Before that, Arendt spent 15 years with SUSS MicroTec SE, where he held positions including Head of the Business Unit Lithography and Managing Director of SUSS Photonic Systems in Corona, US.
