Made from stainless steel and available in nine different sizes

Schroff is offering a family of freestanding stainless steel enclosures to protect electronic or electrical controls in sanitary washdown production environments such as food, beverage or pharmaceutical processing.

Manufactured by Hoffman, one of Schroff's sister companies within the Pentair Technical Products Group, the Watershed enclosures feature 20º sloped tops and door edges to facilitate run-off of wash-down fluids, while a seamless foam-in-place, one-piece gasket provides an IP66-rated water- and dust-tight seal.

Made from Type 304 stainless steel, the enclosures use smooth, bullet-style lift-off door hinges and a three-point latching mechanism operated by stainless-steel handles. The doors have an opening angle of up to 170º.

The Watershed enclosures are available in nine different sizes with overall dimensions from 1700 (h) x 1298 (w) x 308 (d) mm to 2123 (h) x 1907 (w) x 613 (d) mm. They carry a number of international approvals, including UL 508A, CSA C22.2 No. 94, and NEMA Types 4, 4X and 12.

Optional accessories include stainless steel floor stand kits, sanitary leg kits, industrial corrosion inhibitors and various types of panels.
