Modular Devices welcomes new VP of Cleanrooms

Chris Patterson has been chosen to lead the cleanroom division's growth and spearhead the company's expansion into the life sciences market

Modular Devices, a provider of mobile cath labs and mobile cleanrooms, has chosen Chris Patterson to join as VP of Cleanrooms.

Patterson brings extensive experience to his new role, with a background in facilities, engineering, operations, and project management. He has a proven track record of making sound business decisions based on data-driven performance and continuous improvement while taking full accountability for outcomes. Patterson is passionate about team development and has a unique ability to influence through his leadership and management style.

Before joining Modular Devices, Patterson worked as the Owner and Managing Director of Beacon Project Solutions, where he provided consultation and owner’s representation for construction, capital expansion, and facility retrofit projects. He also worked as the Sr Director of Engineering Operations at Rubius Therapeutics, where he was responsible for setting the strategy to operationalise a new manufacturing site, including a capital retrofit of an existing monoclonal antibody facility into a cGMP cellular therapy manufacturing facility.

At Modular Devices, Patterson will lead the cleanrooms division, focusing on expanding into the Life Sciences market, building the cleanrooms business, and contributing to the overall success of Modular Devices. Patterson’s experience in program management, capital project management, facility design review, and operational readiness planning will be invaluable to the company’s growth and success.
