Agreement with Veltek Associates will see the POD builder distribute a range of contamination control solutions

Hot on the heels of Monday's contract deal, G-CON Manufacturing strikes another one to expand its turnkey cleanroom solutions portfolio. The Texas-based POD builder has signed a distribution agreement with Veltek Associates (VAI), a specialist in controlling particulate and microbial contamination.

The agreement will see G-CON distribute VAI's cleanroom products systems and services to its customers.

Through this alliance, G-CON and Veltek will be able to provide a turnkey prefabricated cleanroom, cleaning products, gowning materials, cleanroom equipment and cleanroom expertise.

“We are very excited to partner with VAI. Their products and capabilities fit nicely with our cleanroom PODs allowing us to provide even more of a turnkey solution for our customers,” said Sid Backstrom, VP, Business Management. “Our customers will be able to outfit their state-of-the-art cleanroom POD with gowning supplies, cleaning materials, and intelligent cleanroom equipment and technology, with confidence and in one purchase order.”

Headquartered in Malvern, PA, VAI provides solutions in contamination control for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and compounding pharmacy operations globally.

Operating since 1981, VAI has gained over 147 patents worldwide. The company has five operations, namely Sterile Chemical Manufacturing; Environmental Control Monitoring; Disposal Products Manufacturing; RFID/Cleanroom Paper/Printing and consulting in Aseptic Processing.

Commenting on the agreement, Art Vellutato, President/CEO of Veltek Associates, said: “The concept of the partnership is to provide to our clients the means to not only design a custom cleanroom but also source most required cleaning agents, environmental monitoring, RFID, CIP/COP, wipers, garments cart systems that surround state of the art monitoring and contamination control from one source instead of a multitude of suppliers."
