This course will explore the basic considerations for the design and environmental control of a compounding pharmacy that is in compliance with USP 797 requirements.

Topics include: facility layout and dimensions; environmental controls; HVAC systems and filtration; temperature, pressure, and humidity monitoring; floors, walls, doors, sinks; design for testing compliance rationale; and operation and maintenance.
