Polyester swabs are ideal for applications requiring extreme cleanliness and durability. Contec’s new range of SP Series swabs are manufactured from 100% polyester cleanroom fabric with exceptionally low levels of residue and particles.
The new swabs are available with a choice of knitted or non-woven 100% polyester heads, plus some microfibre and non-woven options. The swab heads are ultrasonically sealed and attached, and generally comprise of two layers of laundered polyester fabric.
The double-layer knit polyester is excellent for contamination removal and due to the materials good chemical resistance they can be used with aggressive solvents. The swabs handles are manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene and are suitable for both dry and steam autoclaving.
