According to Channel Micron, the contract sum is set to be RM59.6 million (USD $13.6 million)

Cleanroom specialist Channel Micron’s subsidiary CSA Technic Sdn has accepted a letter of award from a “German group” to supply and install cleanroom wall and ceiling systems.

The installations are in aid of the first Southeast Asia production plant of an Austrian headquartered global manufacturing leader of high-end printed circuit boards and integrated circuit substrates.

According to Channel Micron, the contract sum is set to be RM59.6 million (USD $13.6 million). The supply and installation of cleanroom wall and ceiling systems products will be conducted from October 2022 to April 2024. Elsewhere, the majority of the work will be completed during the year ending 31 December 2023.

The actual timing will depend on various factors including work progress of non-cleanroom parts of the facilities, any changes in design and the internal approval process of the client and facility.
