Cambridge-based Camlab, one of the UK's leading scientific suppliers and service/repair agents, has launched two new major laboratory equipment catalogues for 2010. The company's flagship 2010 product catalogue, which offers an extensive up-to-date range of products for laboratories, consultants, manufacturing and utilities, comprises more than 1100 information-packed pages that feature twice the amount of laboratory equipment than ever before listed by the company.

New product ranges featured in Camlab's 2010 catalogue include the new SD and XL Erlab ductless fume hoods, Memmert Test Chambers and ovens as well as pipettes and centrifuges from Thermo Scientific.

Camlab has also released a specialist 200 page catalogue focused on the environmental testing sector which features equipment from Hach Lange, Tintometer, Swan, Macherey-Nagel and many more.

One of the highlights of the environmental testing catalogue is the revolutionary PeCOD system that is capturing the imagination of environmental test scientists.

The PeCOD's ability to offer almost instant COD results is proving to be of major interest to our customers. explained Dr David Miller, Business Development at Camlab. Customers can now control their processes avoiding loss of precious raw materials and avoiding outflow charges.

The creation of the two new Camlab catalogues has benefitted from extensive website development work the company has performed. Camlab's website now provides an automatic feed of items through to the catalogues.

Our in-house team has developed a system that gives us the ability to produce completely up-to-date catalogues rather than just rehashing older documents,. explained Rowan Maulder, Marketing Director. By utilising electronic innovation we have also been able to produce our first page-turning pdf of the 2010 catalogue which greatly reduces our carbon footprint and makes access even easier for our customers.
